Freeze Dried

Okay, there it is.  First thing on the list.  Freeze dried ice cream.  It is crunchy, it is creamy when it hits your tongue and it doesn't melt in the Texas heat.

What happens to Skittles when they get freeze dried?  Go check out the You Tube video!  They explode literally and also with crunchy flavor.  Yes, I said crunchy.

They aren't hard like dehydrated and not oily like fried.  

Bananas.  Pure and simple. 

So terrific for snacking!  Both plain apples and apple slices drizzled with homemade caramel.

You'll be surprised at all the flavor packed in to the pineapple slices.  Freeze drying takes away the moisture which just intensifies the flavor.

Its like healthy candy!  Freeze dried yogurt starts out with a crunch and then just melts in your mouth.  And who doesn't love strawberry? And Beatles songs?

Again, the melt in your mouth yogurt.  Its a peach!

What happens to a tiny piece of caramel in a freeze dryer?  It blows up into a puffy ball that looks like a prehistoric egg (according to one of my kids).

Yes, really!  Freeze-dried cheesecake that you can keep in your pantry or desk drawer then pop a piece in your mouth whenever you want.  Fair warning, I discovered they were addicting when I insisted I had to keep trying them....for quality control purposes.  Three delicious flavors:  plain, chocolate caramel swirl or strawberry swirl
